Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-11 in the three-game series, and the Dodgers lost to the Diamondbacks on Sunday, dropping eight of their last nine games.

The Los Angeles Dodgers faced the Arizona Diamondbacks on the road on August 10. Justin Wrobleski, a left-handed pitcher who made his first All-Star Game appearance this year, lasted only 3.1 innings, giving up four runs. Shohei Ohtani struggled throughout the three-game series, managing just one hit in 11 at-bats, and the Dodgers fell 4-2 to the Diamondbacks, suffering their eighth loss in nine games.

In the bottom of the first inning, leadoff hitter Geraldo Perdomo drew a walk. With two outs, Ketel Marte launched a two-run homer over the left-field wall, giving the Diamondbacks a 2-0 lead. In the bottom of the second, leadoff hitter Tyler Locklear doubled, and then Ryan Waldschmidt laid down a bunt single. Wrobleski came off the mound to field the ball but made a wild throw, allowing a run to score. With two outs, Gabriel Moreno added a double, extending the Diamondbacks' lead to 4-0.

In the top of the third inning, the Dodgers began to fight back. Kike Hernandez singled, and with two outs, Andy Pages doubled to drive in a run, making it 1-4. In the top of the sixth, the Dodgers added another run on a single by Freddie Freeman and a triple by Kyle Tucker. However, over the final three innings, only Pages managed to reach base as the Dodgers' offense went quiet. The game ended with the Dodgers losing 4-2. Shohei Ohtani went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in this game, leaving him with just one hit in 11 at-bats for the entire series.
