Wembanyama's younger brother appears at European training camp! Standing 2.01m tall with a 2.11m wingspan, he is expected to be a first-round pick next year.

On June 8, Beijing time, Oscar Wembanyama, the 19-year-old brother of San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, appeared this weekend at the Adidas European Basketball Training Camp in Treviso, Italy, displaying his basketball abilities in front of numerous scouts.

According to ESPN draft expert Givony, Oscar recorded a barefoot height of 2.01m, a wingspan of 2.11m, and a weight of 87 kg in the physical measurements. Givony also noted that Oscar's competitive level has significantly improved over the past 12 to 18 months.

This season, Oscar played in the French Junior A League, representing Strasbourg in 31 games, averaging 10.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.78 steals per game.

In an analysis published in March, Spurs reporter Garza predicted that Oscar is likely to be selected in the late first round or early second round of the 2027 NBA Draft. Garza described the forward as a defensive-minded player with a style leaning toward a classic small forward who is technically smooth and perimeter-oriented.

His performance at this European training camp will also help scouts further evaluate whether to consider drafting the younger brother of the league's top star next spring. If the Spurs bring Oscar under their wing, it would create another brother duo in the league.
