Heartbreaking! Adebayo says he sees LeBron as a brother but didn't pick him in his top five all-time players.

Adebayo, the Heat star, spoke with media on August 3 Beijing time about Giannis' signing with the Heat and LeBron's decision to join the 76ers. Interestingly, he referred to LeBron as a brother in the interview, yet when asked to name his top five players of all time later that day, he omitted LeBron.

The reporter asked Adebayo: "What was the scene when you first met and talked after Giannis officially announced his signing in Las Vegas? What was the core of your communication?"

Adebayo said: "We were all focused on training and pushing toward our goals. Winning a championship is his belief, and we are completely aligned on that. So our conversations were always about winning."

The reporter asked Adebayo: "LeBron just signed with the 76ers, and there were many rumors that he might come to Miami. Talk about your relationship with LeBron and how you felt when you learned he chose another team."

Adebayo replied: "LeBron and I have a great relationship. To be honest, I've always seen him as a brother. We played together in the Olympics, and even before that, we had open conversations. I'm genuinely happy for him; everyone has to follow what's best for themselves."

Interestingly, during that day's event, Adebayo was asked to pick the top five NBA players of all time. It took him nearly a minute to come up with five names, but LeBron was not among them.
