The Nuggets officially announced five signings! They successfully retained both Joneses and brought in new additions Bagley and Diallo.

On August 5th Beijing time, the Nuggets announced five signings. They retained Spencer Jones and Tyus Jones, brought in Marvin Bagley and Diallo, and inked a deal with this year's second-round selection Brazier. According to earlier reports, Denver matched the Thunder's two-year, $12 million offer sheet for Spencer Jones, Brazier received a four-year, $9.3 million contract, while Bagley, Diallo, and Tyus Jones each signed one-year deals. Details are as follows—

Spencer Jones stands at 6'7" and weighs 225 pounds. Last season, he appeared in 64 games (37 starts) for the Nuggets, averaging 22.1 minutes per game while posting career highs of 5.5 points and 3.3 rebounds, shooting 50.4% from the field and 39.6% from three-point range. Jones scored in double figures in 13 games; on December 1st against the Mavericks, he played 39 minutes and recorded a career-high 28 points on 11-of-15 shooting (4-of-6 from deep).

The 25-year-old began the 2024-25 season on a two-way contract with Denver before converting to a standard NBA deal in February 2026. Over his career so far, Jones has played 84 games (37 starts), averaging 18.4 minutes, 4.5 points, and 2.7 rebounds, with shooting splits of 48.3% from the field and 36.0% from beyond the arc.

A Stanford product, Jones spent five seasons with the Cardinal, appearing in 146 games (139 starts). He went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. In college, he averaged 28.3 minutes, 11.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, shooting 43.9% from the floor and 39.7% from three. With 315 made three-pointers and 146 games played, he holds Stanford's all-time records for three-pointers made and games played.

Tyus Jones, listed at 6'1" and 196 pounds, joined the Nuggets as a free agent in March of this year. He played 11 regular-season games (2 starts) and 3 playoff games. Before joining Denver, Jones suited up for the Magic and Mavericks during the 2025-26 season, appearing in 56 games (10 starts) and averaging 15.8 minutes, 3.1 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 rebounds. He scored in double figures in four games and recorded at least five assists with zero turnovers in seven contests. Among qualified players last season, he led the entire league in assist-to-turnover ratio at 6.36.

The 30-year-old Apple Valley, Minnesota native was selected by the Cavaliers with the 24th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft and was traded to the Timberwolves on draft night. Over his 11-year career, he has played for the Timberwolves, Grizzlies, Wizards, Suns, Magic, Mavericks, and Nuggets, totaling 749 games (230 starts). He averages 20.6 minutes, 7.3 points, 4.2 assists, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game, shooting 44.1% from the field and 37.2% from three.

Jones played one season at Duke University in 2014-15, helping the Blue Devils win the NCAA national championship. He started all 39 games that season, averaging 33.9 minutes, 11.8 points, 5.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds. In the championship game, he scored 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting, adding 5 rebounds and 1 assist, earning the 2015 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player award.

Bagley stands at 6'11" and weighs 236 pounds, with eight years of NBA experience. He has played for the Kings, Pistons, Wizards, Grizzlies, and Mavericks, appearing in 349 games (141 starts) and averaging 22.0 minutes, 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game. The 27-year-old Arizona native played 60 games (12 starts) last season—38 with the Wizards (8 starts) and 22 with the Mavericks (4 starts)—averaging 20.0 minutes, 10.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. During the closing stretch of the season, he posted career highs in field goal percentage (61.8%), three-point percentage (46.2%), and free throw percentage (66.0%).

Bagley is a Duke product who entered the NBA draft after one season. He was selected by the Kings with the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and was named to the 2018-19 All-Rookie First Team. During his time at Duke, he won ACC Player of the Year and ACC Rookie of the Year, and was also selected to the All-America First Team.

Bagley will wear jersey number 3 for the Nuggets.

Diallo stands at 6'6" and weighs 207 pounds. Over the past five seasons, he played for AS Monaco in the EuroLeague and has now joined the Nuggets. Last season, he appeared in 77 games (72 starts) for Monaco, averaging 25.4 minutes, 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Diallo won the 2026 EuroLeague Defensive Player of the Year award, was named LNB Pro A Defensive Player of the Year in both 2025 and 2026, and was selected to the LNB Pro A All-Star Five in 2022 and 2025.

Before going overseas, Diallo played four seasons at Providence College, appearing in 130 games (111 starts) for the Friars, averaging 30.1 minutes, 12.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He was named to the All-Big East Second Team in 2019 and 2020, and to the Big East All-Tournament Team in 2018.

The 29-year-old is a native of Denver, Colorado, and attended Lincoln High School in Denver.

Brazier was the 35th overall pick in the second round of this year's draft. He stands at 6'10" and weighs 227 pounds. He played four seasons at the University of Arkansas, appearing in 105 games (71 starts) and averaging 26.2 minutes, 9.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game, shooting 52.7% from the field and 35.3% from three. Before transferring to Arkansas, he spent one season (2021-22) at the University of Missouri.

Last season, Brazier averaged 31.5 minutes, 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, shooting 52.5% from the field and 34.1% from three. He became the first player in Arkansas history to record at least 40 made three-pointers (45), 40 blocks (58), and 40 steals (53) in a single season. He led the team in rebounding (7.3 per game) and blocks (1.61 per game), and ranked second in steals (1.5 per game). With averages of 14.7 points and 10.0 rebounds over three tournament games, Brazier was named to the 2026 SEC All-Tournament Team.
