Confirmed, officially announced.
Beijing acquired the priority re-signing rights for Barry Brown from Guangsha and signed him.

Notably, Brown began his CBA career with Beijing, playing five games in the 21-22 season, averaging 18.4 minutes, 17.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2 assists per game; in the 23-24 season, he moved to Guangzhou, averaging 27.5 minutes, 19.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 2.6 steals.

Over the 24-26 consecutive seasons, Brown played for Guangsha and reached his career peak. Last year, he led the team to its first championship in franchise history and won the FMVP award; this year, he again led the team to the finals but failed to defend the title, notably scoring 50 points in the Game 2 showdown against Shanghai.

Brown + Zhao Rui + Zeng Fanbo + Zhou Qi, etc. Beijing's lineup for next season is as strong as ever, or even stronger, but the actual effect remains to be seen. As for Chen Yingjun, his D-class max contract has expired, and he has not yet reached a renewal agreement with Beijing.

According to a domestic media source, a team from the TPBL league in Taiwan Province of China has offered Chen Yingjun the largest contract amount in history.

Back to the Guangsha team, as last year's champion and this year's runner-up, they are reportedly facing a breakup due to financial issues, with several key players confirmed to be leaving, as follows:
Zhao Jiaren (heading to Shanxi);
Su Ruoyu (heading to Fujian);
Lin Bingsheng (returning to Baodao);
Brown (heading to Beijing).

By the way, Hu Jinqiu, currently the core of the Chinese men's basketball team, has also been put on the trade block by Guangsha. Both Shanghai and Shanxi are interested in acquiring him, but there has been no substantial progress so far. Perhaps he will ultimately stay with the team.

Hu Jinqiu has played for Guangsha for 11 seasons, making him a team icon. During this period, he has won 2 MVP awards, been selected to the domestic best first team 6 times, been an All-Star 9 times, and won one championship, among other achievements.
