At 6:15 AM local time, 76ers player Maxey reached out to James and a famous trainer: "I know I'm here earlier than everyone else today, but you guys must come!"

James responded with a crying-laughing emoji.

According to his usual routine, James typically heads to the training facility by car around 4 AM. Today, the veteran was late, and instead his 26-year-old teammate Maxey was the first to arrive at the gym.

James may be late, but he never misses a session. From some training footage, James still looks fierce—he easily spins past defenders and throws down two-handed dunks.
