Congratulations to the 76ers! Thank you, James! All-Star big man requests to join

Reporter Dave McMenamin reported that:Love wants to join the 76ers to reunite with James before retiring, and the two have a very close personal relationship.

However, the problem is that the 76ers currently have no roster spot available. To sign Love, they would first need to cut or trade a player...

During their time with the Cavaliers from 2014 to 2018, Love and James played together and even won the championship together in 2016. Not long ago, the two also attended the reunion party for the 10th anniversary of the Cavs' championship.

Love was born on September 7, 1988. He is a power forward/center standing 2.08m tall with a 2.11m wingspan. He was selected as the 5th overall pick in the first round of the 2008 draft. His NBA career accolades so far include a championship, Most Improved Player, two All-NBA Second Team selections, one rebounding title, five All-Star appearances, and an Olympic gold medal, among others.

It is worth noting that Love is currently unemployed, as he is a completely free agent.Last season, he played for the Jazz, appearing in 37 regular-season games (5 starts), averaging 16.6 minutes per game and putting up 6.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists, while hitting 1.4 three-pointers per game at a 37.3% clip.He still has some gas left in the tank and is capable of being a rotational big man.

Speaking of Love, his most impressive period was undoubtedly his Timberwolves days, where he was a true double-double machine. He once scored 51 points in a single game and grabbed 31 rebounds in another. In the 2010-11 season, he averaged 20.2 points and 15.2 rebounds. In 2011-12, he averaged 26 points and 13.3 rebounds. In 2013-14, he averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds. After leaving Minnesota in the summer of 2014, due to a change in role and age factors, he never put up such explosive numbers again.

All in all, Love can definitely be considered a winner in life—one who has both fame and fortune. By rough estimates, his total career earnings exceed $278 million. He also has a happy family, with a supermodel wife named Kate Bock, who is Canadian and stands 1.80m tall. They officially tied the knot in June 2022.

Lastly, I hope Love can get his wish. I believe James would also be very happy to have another wild ride with his old buddy on the 76ers.
