Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi from Gaming.

Since King's Farm launched over four months ago, numerous new features have been rolled out, such as the showcase feature that was added a while back. However, this feature is mostly for show and lacks real value. Xiaodi believes it could be enhanced by allowing players to earn revenue from the showcase, with better crops generating more income, thus making it more appealing and useful.

Additionally, a new "Gift" page was quietly introduced in the test server a few days ago, and it's now officially available on the live server. Simply put, gifting allows us to send harvested crops directly to farm friends, but there are many nuances in the rules. I'm sure many players have questions, so let's discuss them in this episode.

Gift Shop

The restrictions on the live server are quite strict. There is a limit on gifting: you can only send one crop to one friend per day, and you can only send to up to five different friends daily, meaning you can gift a maximum of five crops. Many players might be disappointed, as this makes it difficult to concentrate resources. Unless the crop is very rare, gifting just one crop isn't particularly valuable.

After all, the rule is designed to prevent overly concentrated gifting by adding some restrictions. However, there's an interesting mechanism: gifted crops can be passed on again. For example, if A gives to B, B can then give to C, but this re-gifting is still limited to one time.

Here's a detail to note: when gifting a crop, you can add a message with whatever you want. The recipient will see the crop and your message when they enter their farm, similar to a real-life greeting card. Additionally, intimacy points are tied to gifting: each gift adds 2 intimacy points. If both sides send gifts, you can get up to 4 points per day, which is better than nothing.

To send a gift, you need to visit the other person's farm first. Then, find the gift box icon next to their avatar, click it, and you can choose a crop and write a message. After completing, a balloon with a blue gift box will float in the air, very noticeable as soon as you enter the farm. There will also be a card displayed on the right.

Hero crops cannot be gifted.

The most discussed topic in this rule is that hero crops cannot be gifted. The reason is simple: hero crops are the most valuable in the entire farm, so they cannot be circulated through the gifting system. Hero crops are hard to trigger mutations, and even fewer can be cultivated with high mutations. If they could be gifted, the farm economy would easily be disrupted. For example, if friends exchange high-mutation hero crops, players who previously worked hard to accumulate farm coins through high mutations would lose all motivation, dampening their enthusiasm for playing the farm.

Therefore, the main targets for gifting are ordinary economic crops and giant crops. Including giant crops is quite generous since they are eye-catching and require significant effort to cultivate, so it's still decent.

Originally, you could consider creating alt accounts to concentrate resources, but since the limit is only one gift per friend, it's not worth it. The yield is too low, so this feature is more for social interaction.
