Hello everyone, I'm Xiaodi from Gaming.
There are many activities launched during the Summer Farm Festival, such as new heroes, new skins, farm collaborations, etc. But there is a gameplay that many may not have noticed yet, which is the limited-time identity card system in the canyon. At the start of the game, two identity cards are randomly given, and you choose one as the global buff for the match. The event ends on August 19, and is available for 5v5 matchmaking, ranked games, and custom rooms. Choosing the right buff can make the whole game much more comfortable; choosing the wrong one is equivalent to missing a buff slot. In this episode, Xiaodi will talk about how to choose among the six identities. Let's take a look~

First, let's understand the effects of each of the six identities: Wolfborn, attacks deal additional damage based on the target's missing health; the lower the enemy's HP, the harder you hit. Suitable for high-burst finisher heroes. Settler, gains primary attribute and health bonuses, making the body sturdier. Suitable for tanks and most heroes. Sentinel, gains a shield when casting skills, protecting both allies and self. Suitable for supports or heroes that need to survive.

Nightwatcher, increases attack speed, fires counterattack bullets upon death, suitable for high attack speed marksmen or assassins. Diviner, gains more gold over time, suitable for heroes who need fast development; basically all heroes are compatible. Alchemist, throws damage or healing potions when casting skills, suitable for heroes like Bian Que and Zhou Yu who need to continuously cast skills.
The most direct way to choose an identity card is to select by role. Junglers should prioritize Wolfborn, which is very suitable for the finishing role of jungling, allowing faster gank completion. Marksmen choose Nightwatcher; the attack speed boost directly increases damage output, and the death counterattack bullets can add a bit of damage. Supports choose Sentinel; the shield can better protect teammates and themselves. Mages choose Alchemist; the skills deal extra damage or provide healing, making poke and trading more comfortable. These correspondences are classic matches and are basically suitable, so overall you won't go wrong.

In addition, look at your own hero type. For immobile damage dealers like tower marksmen, the Settler's primary attribute and health bonus are more suitable; a tougher body makes it harder to get bursted down. Of course, tanks can also choose it to become even tankier. For finishers like assassins, the Wolfborn's missing health damage bonus can increase finishing efficiency, taking out low-health enemies in one combo. It's very suitable for heroes like Lanlingwang and Lan. As for the Diviner, the gold bonus is needed by everyone, so it's an all-round choice.
Choosing the identity card well can greatly improve the game experience, especially for marksmen and junglers. The benefits of Nightwatcher and Diviner are the most obvious. Also, note that the identity cards are randomly given two at the start, and you choose one from the two. It's not like you can freely choose from all six. So getting the desired identity depends a bit on luck. If the two given at the start are not ideal, don't worry too much. The buff is just icing on the cake; ultimately, it's your skill and teamwork that determine victory.

During the event, this buff is visible to the whole team. Once chosen, it's fixed and cannot be changed mid-game. So don't be too casual at the start; take a look at your hero's type before making a decision. It's better than blindly picking.
That's all for the content. If you think it's good, feel free to like and support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below; I'll read them all~
