Bin, as LPL's current top-tier top-laner, is heavily promoted by LPL and Riot officials. His penchant for "wild" comments fueled LPL viewers' excitement for the BLG vs. BFX match. Before the game, Bin mocked BFX's lack of reputation, predicting an easy BLG win. However, GEN's support player duro recently stated in an interview that BLG and BFX are closely matched and would play a full BO5.

Before the match, no LPL viewers expected BFX to take BLG to a full BO5. Since GEN had crushed BFX 3-0 in the LCK finals, and BLG's current goal in the Pioneer Tournament is to defeat GEN, most assumed BLG would similarly sweep BFX 3-0. As the match progressed, many realized they underestimated BFX's AD player Diable's individual skill, who repeatedly turned games around with his plays in this BO5.

Particularly his pentakill with Jinx in the second game reminded many of Uzi, leading viewers to call Diable the Korean Uzi. While Diable's skill earned LPL audience respect, BFX's top and mid players were clear weaknesses, resulting in BLG's eventual 3-2 victory. Many felt sorry for Diable, believing that with stronger teammates, he could contend for a world championship.

During the BLG vs. BFX match, an off-field incident occurred. After BLG lost the third game despite an economic lead, AL manager Aixiao went directly to Zhu Kai's livestream to send gifts. Seeing Aixiao appear, many comments flooded with "International matches rely on AL." This "adding insult to injury" move embarrassed many AL fans. As BLG ultimately won 3-2, Aixiao's actions drew heavy sarcasm from BLG supporters.

Even BLG top-laner Bin's post-match post "International matches rely on BLG" was seen by many LPL viewers as mocking AL manager Aixiao. Finally, many LPL viewers found Aixiao's premature celebration baffling. Recall after AL beat T1 in the Oil Cup, before facing GEN in the finals, Aixiao went to 369's personal account asking if he regretted joining AL. Then AL lost to GEN. I personally don't understand why Aixiao loves "showing face" so much. (Last year's "International matches rely on AL" was also first shouted by Aixiao.)

To be fair, Bin's statement "International matches rely on BLG" is valid. Recently, LPL's classic BO5 victories against LCK in international tournaments have mostly come from BLG. Except for last year when BLG's performance dipped after jungler XUN left, BLG has consistently represented LPL's top level in world competitions. LPL's last BO5 win over an LCK team dates back over 500 days, which was also achieved by BLG.

Although BLG helped LPL end its losing streak in international matches, honestly, BLG's current form might struggle against GEN. BLG's performance in this BO5 was indeed sluggish, especially in the third game where the team's collective "panic" after BFX secured the Baron stunned me. Hopefully BLG quickly regains its form. (Do you think BLG can maintain a winning streak and ultimately claim the Pioneer Tournament championship?)
