TFT Set 18: The Jungle Monster Tribe Steals the Spotlight with a "Familiar Yet Strange" Roster

The Jungle Monster tribe is making waves in TFT Set 18, featuring a collection of well-known monsters from League of Legends. Its distinctive visuals and adaptable playstyle, along with strong power progression, make it a standout.

Unlike typical traits, Jungle Monsters do not rely on familiar Runeterra champions. Instead, the lineup is built from creatures that players frequently encounter on Summoner's Rift.

The list of Jungle Monster champions spans from 1 to 5 gold, including Star Seedling, Pebble, Dark Wolf, Star Toad, Strange Crab, Mutant Bird, Krug, Red Brambleback, Ancient Golem, and Elder Dragon.

The Jungle Monster synergy in TFT Set 18

At the 3-unit threshold, players receive the Alpha Mark, which allows them to grant a special effect to a chosen Jungle Monster champion.

When reaching 5 units, every three combat rounds, the next shop will feature more Jungle Monster units. This mechanic helps players easily upgrade their board, preserve health, or execute reroll strategies.

The 7-unit threshold brings strong scaling in combat. At the start of battle and every 5 seconds, Jungle Monster champions gain bonus attack damage, ability power, attack speed, armor, magic resist, health, and mana.

Most notably, the 10-unit threshold grants players two additional maximum slots on the board. However, activating this milestone requires efficient economy management and leveling.

A flexible composition, suitable for many strategies

Jungle Monsters can effectively use both physical and magical items, allowing players to easily pivot based on the items they receive. This composition can be played as a reroll at level 7 or by saving gold and fast-leveling to aim for the 10 Jungle Monster threshold.

Traits like Sorcerer, Ruined, Brawler, Warrior, Rapidfire, Summoner, and Vanguard also open up many combination options. As a result, Jungle Monsters are considered an accessible choice that still has enough depth to compete in TFT Set 18.
