Dinh Bac receives another suspension

Forward Nguyen Dinh Bac will miss the Round 13 match between SHB Da Nang and CAHN because he has received three yellow cards since the beginning of the season.

Before V-League 2025/26 temporarily paused to accommodate FIFA Days in March, the Round 13 match between SHB Da Nang and Hanoi Police at Chi Lang Stadium has attracted significant attention, not only due to its importance for points but also because of considerable personnel losses for both teams.

According to the organizers' announcement, both sides will be without the services of notable strikers. Specifically, forward Nguyen Dinh Bac of Hanoi Police Club and forward Pham Dinh Duy from SHB Da Nang are suspended due to each having accumulated three yellow cards since the start of the season. This is a significant loss as both play crucial roles in their teams' attacking operations.

More notably, Dinh Bac's situation is regrettable as he is also not included in the Vietnam national team squad for this FIFA Days period. The reason stems from a prior penalty by the Asian Football Confederation during the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals, which disqualifies the young striker from participating. Being absent from club matches due to domestic suspension and missing the national team call-up clearly makes this a challenging period for the 2004-born player.

On the opposite side, the absence of Dinh Duy also presents a challenge for SHB Da Nang in finding a replacement for their attack. Given that the Han River-based team urgently needs points to escape the bottom group, losing a key player capable of creating breakthroughs will significantly impact the tactics of coach Le Duc Tuan and his team.
