Midfielder Antonio Moric is proud to wear the U23 Vietnam jersey, ready to adapt and compete.
On March 19 afternoon, before starting training with the U23 Vietnam team preparing for the CFA Team China International Football Tournament – Xi'an 2026, Vietnamese-Croatian player Antonio Moric shared with media his feelings about his first inclusion in the team, his integration process, and his development direction for the future.
Given the opportunity by the Vietnam Football Federation to return and contribute to the national youth teams, Moric expressed pride and excitement. This player of Vietnamese-Croatian descent stated he is striving to adapt to the new environment, especially absorbing and implementing the professional requirements from the coaching staff. “When the coach explains, I understand and always try to complete the training plan as best as possible,” Moric shared.
From a professional perspective, Moric believes moving from U19 to U23 level brings higher demands on physical fitness and training intensity. However, comparing it to training and playing with the first team at his club, he noted the difference is not too significant. “I am still adapting as I just returned from Europe, but this is a good environment for development,” he said.
