Vietnam's national team still hasn't received good news regarding Xuan Son and Van Hau.

Xuan Son remains in individual training, as key CAHN stars like Quang Hai and Van Hau are still not reunited with the Vietnam national team.

On the afternoon of March 23, the Vietnam national team continued their training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, actively preparing for the friendly match against Bangladesh (March 26) before their upcoming rematch with Malaysia in the final qualifying round for the 2027 Asian Cup. The most concerning issue is the injury status of Xuan Son.

Accordingly, forward Xuan Son continues to train separately due to an injury sustained during the first training session two days ago. The Nam Dinh striker has a strained left thigh muscle, but according to diagnosis, the issue is not too serious and he could still recover in time for the match on March 26.

On the other hand, Do Hoang Hen has entered his third training session with the full team and is gradually integrating well. With his strong performance for Hanoi FC, he shows readiness to compete for a spot in the starting lineup.

Players from Ninh Bình who joined late on March 22, including goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, have also started training with the whole team. However, the squad is still incomplete, as seven players from Hanoi Police Club are expected to join only on March 24 after their postponed V.League match with Da Nang. Notable names like Van Hau, Quang Hai, and Dinh Trong are eagerly awaited by fans.

The team's training atmosphere is intense and serious. Coach Kim Sang Sik and his assistants continue implementing suitable plans for each player group given the incomplete squad, maintaining fitness foundations and refining tactical options.

According to the plan, the Vietnam national team will continue to strengthen the squad and playing style in the coming days, before the friendly match against Bangladesh at Hang Day Stadium on March 26.
