Casemiro reiterates he will definitely leave Manchester United this summer! Choice between Europe and America, impossible to return to Real Madrid

After Casemiro's contract expires this summer, Manchester United will part ways with him as planned. The club has confirmed the departure of the 34-year-old Brazilian superstar, despite his excellent performances in the Premier League over the past two months, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has not changed the original decision. On the other hand, Casemiro himself also reaffirmed that he will definitely leave this summer. Hoping he stays is merely wishful thinking by fans.

When discussing whether Casemiro's departure could be reversed, Tyrone Marshall of the Manchester Evening News stated: "The fans at Old Trafford hope Casemiro can stay for another year. This is the simplest question, and the simplest answer is: impossible. The issue first centers on whether Casemiro might change his mind about leaving, but despite what the lyrics might say, the player's decision is not like that."

It is reported that Casemiro initially considered staying, but Sir Jim and the management's approach completely changed his mind. "Casemiro was willing to stay, depending on the contract offer, but Manchester United decided not to offer him a new contract. That negotiation took place early in the season and was announced publicly in January. There is no turning back, and Manchester United currently has no plans to change their mind and offer a new contract."

ESPN claims that Casemiro prefers to stay in Europe's top leagues next season, but MLS clubs Inter Miami and LA Galaxy are more active and have already sent him invitations. However, both American clubs have used up their designated player slots and may need to free up space to bring in 'Fat Tiger'.

Experienced Casemiro has also entered the radar of Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Ittihad, which sees him as a potential replacement for Fabinho, whose contract expires this summer. However, given the current situation in the Middle East, Casemiro is unlikely to choose a transfer to Saudi Arabia.

Casemiro has many free transfer options, especially from Saudi Arabia and the US which can offer lucrative deals. But if he is willing to reduce his salary, staying in European football wouldn't be surprising. In that case, Serie A could become his first choice, as Italy remains one of Europe's top five leagues and its fans are most welcoming to older players. Recently, Casemiro reunited with former Real Madrid teammate Modric in the US, who is playing as a starter for AC Milan.

It is said that if he moves to Serie A, Roma could be a strong contender for Casemiro. If Roma secures Champions League qualification, Casemiro might consider joining them for free. However, to play in Serie A, Fat Tiger would need a significant salary reduction. His weekly wage at Manchester United is as high as £350,000, while Roma's top-paid forward Dybala earns only €250,000 per week.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed contacts from the US and Saudi Arabia with Casemiro. "Some MLS teams are very interested in Casemiro, and I've also heard that clubs from Europe and Saudi Arabia have contacted him," Romano said. "Interest from Saudi Arabia has existed since last year or even earlier; they have always favored Casemiro. Regarding MLS, there has been strong recent interest there as well."

There are even rumors that La Liga giants Real Madrid, lacking midfielders, are interested in signing Casemiro for free. Regarding this, Romano said: "Many European clubs have extended offers to him, but Casemiro's salary could be a problem for them. Some ask me if he could return to Real Madrid. Real Madrid needs a midfielder. Why not sign Casemiro? For one last dance."

Romano continued: "I haven't heard of any contact between Casemiro and Real Madrid, so let's see what happens next. But it's certain that despite Casemiro's excellent performances, despite him being a key player, especially crucial for Erik ten Hag in Manchester United's pursuit of Champions League success, he is expected to leave Manchester United as a free transfer."
