Hoàng Đức: 'Hope Hoàng Hên scores many goals for the Vietnamese national team'

Hoàng Đức shared notable remarks ahead of the morning training session on March 27 with the Vietnamese national team.

Regarding the recent friendly match with Bangladesh, Hoàng Đức considered it a necessary warm-up for the team to regain cohesion after a long period without full squad concentration, while also allowing new players to integrate better into the overall playing style. “It has been a long time since the team gathered with many new faces. The whole team is training very diligently, understanding each other better to prepare for the match on March 31 against Malaysia,”Hoàng Đức shared.

Regarding the upcoming match against Malaysia, even though the Vietnamese national team has already secured qualification for the 2027 Asian Cup finals, Hoàng Đức still emphasized the significant importance of this encounter, especially as the team will play at home. “Every match is important. This is a home match, so the whole team will enter the game with the highest spirit, dedicating themselves to a good performance and aiming for victory to bring joy to the fans,”Hoàng Đức affirmed.

Speaking about playing at Thiên Trường Stadium, the midfielder of the Vietnamese national team expressed high expectations for the support from the spectators. According to him, this is one of the stadiums with the most passionate atmosphere in the V.League. “Thiên Trường Stadium always has a very large and enthusiastic crowd of supporters. I hope that on March 31, the fans will continue to keep the passion alive to cheer for the national team and boost the morale of the whole squad,”Hoàng Đức expressed.

The midfielder born in 1998 also gave positive evaluations for the new recruit Đỗ Hoàng Hên – a player making his first appearance in the Vietnamese national team lineup. Despite having played together only for a short time, Hoàng Đức believes that Hoàng Hên is a quality player and has proven his ability over many years of playing in the V-League. “Hoàng Hên is a very quality player, having established himself over many years. I hope he will create more memorable moments and score many goals for the Vietnamese national team”, he said.

Regarding the current atmosphere within the team, Hoàng Đức stated that the whole squad maintains a very positive spirit. The return of players like Đoàn Văn Hậu, Trần Đình Trọng along with the inclusion of new recruits brings freshness and cohesion to the group. According to Hoàng Đức, the integration of new players, especially Hoàng Hên, proceeds smoothly thanks to good communication skills and support from teammates. “The teammates have exchanged a lot both on and off the field. Hoàng Hên speaks Vietnamese well, so communication is very easy, without any difficulties”, this midfielder stated.

Evaluating Hoàng Hên's role in the overall play, Hoàng Đức believes the presence of this player makes the whole team more confident and enhances connection on the field. However, he also emphasized that the assignment of playing positions will be decided by the coaching staff, and each player needs to fulfill their assigned role well.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese national team will continue refining tactical options in the coming days before hosting Malaysia at Thiên Trường Stadium (Ninh Bình) on March 31. The match is expected to attract a large number of spectators to the stadium, creating a vibrant atmosphere and fueling the team under coach Kim Sang Sik towards achieving the best possible result.
