Casemiro announces details of leaving Manchester United! Touched by fans' plea to stay, his heart remains forever loving the Red Devils.

It's hard to say goodbye, but there's no feast that lasts forever! Casemiro reiterated that his decision to leave Manchester United after this season will not change. He told the club's official website that he anticipates a farewell filled with emotions. "The Tank" expressed his hope to deliver the best results for the team in the final seven Premier League matches, aiming to return to the Champions League and secure a top-three position in the league.

Manchester United conveyed thousands of fan messages to Casemiro. The 34-year-old Brazilian superstar said that during his last match at Old Trafford, fans shouted for him to stay another year. Although it didn't alter his choice, it deeply moved him and his family.

At that time, Casemiro scored first against Aston Villa, netting his seventh goal of the season. United eventually won 3-1, solidifying their top-three ranking. Casemiro admitted he was touched by the crowd's gesture, which showed that his value to the team was recognized by the supporters.

"Honestly, there's nothing more to explain. I only feel gratitude and truly enjoy my current life," Casemiro said. "Not just me, but my family too. Hearing fans express love and support is an immense honor. Many think this happened only months after I announced my departure, but actually, from my first day at Manchester United, fans have been incredibly kind to me and my family. I must be thankful. I am deeply grateful to the fans, the supporters of Manchester United, and I will always remember this bond."

Casemiro told the fans that he has always been very happy at Manchester United. "I feel extremely joyful, especially receiving the fans' affection and respect. I am grateful for this love; it's truly thrilling."

United's final home match this season is against Nottingham Forest on May 17th. Asked about what his farewell scene might look like, Casemiro said: "I hope I don't cry on the last day, because this has been a wonderful experience. A few days ago, when fans asked me to play another year, my wife also cried. So now, I just want to savor everything, enjoy every moment. I will be a Manchester United fan for life."

After his departure, Casemiro named two players who could become Manchester United's future: Kobbie Mainoo and Cunha. "Kobbie (Mainoo) is the present and future of the team. I think he is one of the best number 8 players, and will remain so for the next 12 years. I really like him," Casemiro said. "He always wants the ball. Football doesn't change a person's spirit, but Kobbie has proven he never loses focus. He must keep his current mindset and continue playing his crucial role. He is truly an outstanding player, a great player."

Casemiro added: "He has already proven it, playing for England in the European Championship final. His performances in other finals also speak volumes; he scored in the FA Cup final. So, he is both the present and the future."

Brazilian compatriot Cunha, after transferring from Wolves to Manchester United, has grown closer to Casemiro. Their families recently vacationed together in the US. When asked about his most memorable assist during his time at United, Casemiro mentioned the pass in October against Brighton that helped Cunha score his first goal for the club.

"I don't know if this is my favorite assist, but I'd say the pass to Cunha this season, because I really like him, and he wanted to open his goal account at that time," he said. "I was the first teammate to assist his goal at Manchester United. I believe he will always remember this moment, as he is a very important player for United."

Casemiro, who scored seven goals this season, also drew fans' attention with his celebration moves. He revealed that how he celebrates is decided by his son in the stands.

Recently, he used the popular internet meme "67," a meaningless trendy gesture involving waving hands up and down, first adopted by NFL players last year and widely popular in sports abroad.

Additionally, Casemiro sometimes points to his nose. He explained: "All my celebration moves, honestly, are ideas from my son; he decides them. He is a passionate football enthusiast and a die-hard Manchester United fan; he loves Manchester. Before each match, I ask him: 'How should I celebrate today?' So, '67' was his request, and pointing to the nose signifies that I can smell a goal."

Casemiro also revealed that during celebrations at Old Trafford, he finds his son Caio in the stands and exchanges eye contact with him.
