Liverpool clinches a breathless victory to secure FA Cup semifinal spot

This result allows coach Gareth Taylor and his team to secure a place in the FA Cup semifinals, where they could face top opponents like Chelsea, Man City, or Tottenham.

Contrary to the impressive performance of the women's team, Liverpool's men's side delivered a disappointing outcome.

Coach Arne Slot's squad suffered a heavy 0-4 defeat at Etihad against Man City in the quarterfinals, thereby missing out on the FA Cup crown. The Kop's current focus now rests solely on the Champions League, the most feasible arena for the team to claim a trophy this season.

Meanwhile, the Merseyside club almost has no chance of defending their Premier League title, as they trail league leaders Arsenal by a 21-point gap with only seven rounds remaining.
