Arsenal could win the Premier League next week.

Gary Neville believes Arsenal still hold the chance to win the Premier League, despite Manchester City defeating Chelsea and continuing to exert significant pressure in the title race.

Manchester City has breathed down the neck of Arsenal following a 3-0 victory over Chelsea on April 12th. With this result, Manchester City has narrowed the gap with Arsenal to 6 points and has one game left to play. This makes the title race hotter than ever.

When asked on Sky Sports whether Manchester City's win over Chelsea was another "heavy blow" to Arsenal, especially after Arsenal's loss to Bournemouth, Gary Neville – a legend who won the Premier League eight times – responded:

“That is indeed the case, but Arsenal probably anticipated that Manchester City would win this match. Arsenal must focus on what they will do against Manchester City next week. Arsenal could win the Premier League by the end of next week. That might not be the prevailing view this week, but that's the reality,” Neville said.

“Everyone is thinking Manchester City will reduce the gap to 3 points, but if you are Arsenal, you must believe you can secure your first title in 22 years next week. That is how they should approach the situation,” the Manchester United legend commented.

“We are awaiting a massive match next weekend, a game that could decide the entire Premier League season. Manchester City has sensed the opportunity and they have a full week to prepare for the big clash.”

Neville added: “The feeling now is that Manchester City is hitting their stride at the most crucial moment. We have entered the final stretch, a phase where every match truly carries life-or-death significance, and this team understands that better than anyone.”

Manchester City will face Arsenal at 22:30 on April 19th. Having been eliminated from the Champions League, Pep Guardiola's team will have a full week to prepare for the upcoming match. Meanwhile, Arsenal will host Sporting Lisbon midweek before traveling to Etihad.

Arsenal is entering the most brutal psychological test of the season. If they overcome it, they will open the door wide to their first Premier League title in 22 years. Conversely, if they stumble against Manchester City, Arsenal could hand the title race initiative to their rival.
