U19 Vietnam is level on points with U19 Indonesia but leads Group A due to a superior goal difference.
U19 Indonesia must win their decisive match on June 7 to secure their semifinal berth.
According to the 2026 ASEAN U19 Championship format, the organizers will select only the three group winners and the best runner-up for the semifinals. Since Group C has only three teams, when determining the best runner-up, results against the last-placed team in that group will not be counted.
Thanks to a better goal difference than U19 Indonesia, coach Yutaka Ikeuchi's side only needs a draw in their final match to secure a semifinal spot as Group A winners.
The match between U19 Vietnam and U19 Indonesia in Group A of the 2026 ASEAN U19 Championship will take place at 8:00 PM on June 7.
