In the second match of Group B at the 2026 ASEAN U19 Championship,Thailand's U19 side once again demonstrated their superior strength by defeating Singapore's U19 team 4-0. After a 9-0 demolition of Brunei in the opening match, the young warriors from the Land of Smiles entered this game determined to secure three more points and move closer to a semifinal spot.
From the very first minutes, Thailand's U19 team completely controlled the match. The players, guided by their coaching staff, constantly pushed forward, executed smooth ball movement, and put immense pressure on the opponent's half. Meanwhile, Singapore's U19 squad mostly retreated into deep defense and struggled to organize counterattacks.
After several missed opportunities, the white-clad team finally broke the deadlock in the 28th minute. Phatharat executed a clever maneuver before unleashing a precise shot that beat the Singaporean goalkeeper. The opening goal boosted Thailand's confidence for the remainder of the first half.

While trying to withstand the constant pressure, a Singapore player accidentally turned the ball into his own net, leaving his team in a difficult position.
Things went from bad to worse for Singapore after the break. In the 49th minute, Danial Herwan was shown a straight red card for a rough foul on a Thai player. Playing with ten men for most of the second half, the Lion City representatives could barely withstand the waves of attacks from their opponents.
Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, Thailand's U19 team maintained their dominance and added two more goals in the 74th and 90+2 minutes, sealing the match with a resounding 4-0 victory. With a perfect six points and an impressive goal difference after two matches, the "Baby War Elephants" hold their destiny in their hands in the race for the top spot.
