Two incredible 7-1 victories emerge in the Vietnamese National Championship

Sahako and Thai Son Nam HCMC win big, making the top race in the National Futsal Championship even more exciting.

On the afternoon of June 5, the sixth round of the HDBank Futsal National Championship 2026 concluded with two heavy victories for Sahako and Thai Son Nam HCMC. These results helped both teams maintain their positions in the top group of the standings and put pressure on the leader, Thai Son Bac. In the match starting at 2:00 PM, Tre HCMC unexpectedly scored the opening goal in the 8th minute, after Chi Bao took advantage of an opportunity to give his team a 1-0 lead.

However, the composure of Thai Son Nam HCMC quickly showed. In the 10th minute, Manh Dung equalized following an assist from Doan Phat. Just one minute later, the same player scored again to put his team ahead 2-1. By the 14th minute, Thinh Phat added another goal to increase the lead for the defending champions.

In the second half, Thai Son Nam HCMC completely controlled the game. Foreign player Bob scored a brace, along with goals from Tien Huy and Van Hoai, helping Coach Nguyen Tuan Anh's team close out the match with a convincing 7-1 win.

In the other match, Sahako showed overwhelming strength against Luxury Ha Long. In the 9th minute, foreign player Marco Antonio Moreira opened the scoring with a precise finish. Just one minute later, Marco executed a clever backheel from a set piece to set up Mi Woem, who made it 2-0.

Despite dominating the rest of the first half, Sahako could not add more goals due to the fierce resistance of Luxury Ha Long's defense. After the break, Coach Nguyen Anh Khoa's team continued to increase the pressure. Le Bo made it 3-0 in the 26th minute, and Van Toan scored the fourth just three minutes later. Luxury Ha Long pulled one back through Thanh Binh, but that was all the mining city team could muster.

The remaining minutes saw Sahako's explosion as Marco completed his brace, Mi Woem scored another goal, and Tuan Vu sealed the 7-1 win in the 37th minute. With this result, Sahako increased their total points to 15, staying close to the leader Thai Son Bac (16 points). Thai Son Nam HCMC sits third with 14 points, while Sai Gon Titans are fourth with 11 points.

The championship race after six rounds is extremely fierce, with only two points separating the top three teams. Even one unfavorable result in the coming rounds could change the dynamics of the leading group.
