The eFootball squad of Vietnam stands prepared for the FIFAe Nations League 2026.

Today, June 9, the Vietnamese eFootball national team will officially embark on their journey in Week 2 of the FIFAe Nations League 2026 – a national team competition within the FIFAe system, co-organized by FIFA and Konami on the eFootball platform. This arena brings together outstanding players representing FIFA member associations worldwide, vying for opportunities to compete in international tournaments under the FIFAe umbrella.

In Week 2 of the eFootball Mobile 2v2 format, Vietnam is placed in Group C alongside India, Kyrgyzstan, and Myanmar. According to the schedule, the Vietnamese players will face Kyrgyzstan at 17:00, Myanmar at 17:30, and India at 18:00 on June 9.

The Vietnamese delegation for this tournament consists of six players. They were selected from domestic tournaments and national qualifiers. Notably, the duo Trần Anh Tuấn and Lê Đỗ Duy Quang are champions of the FIFAe 2v2 qualifiers. Trần Anh Tuấn has previously won the Vietnam ProScrims tournament, placed third in Rising Cup SS3, and third in EFV250 in March 2026. Meanwhile, Lê Đỗ Duy Quang was the runner-up in Rising Cup SS4 before claiming the title at the FIFAe 2v2 qualifiers.

The squad also features experienced players such as Trần Văn Kháng and Trần Văn Kiến, a duo who finished as runners-up in the FIFAe 2v2 qualifiers. Additionally, Phạm Minh Quang, champion of Coop SS1 and runner-up in Master, and Nguyễn Hoàng Tấn Lực, winner of the first FIFAe qualifiers, are part of the team.

The FIFAe Nations League 2026 is organized over multiple weeks to determine which teams qualify for the FIFAe Continental Championship. The East Asia region has a total of six slots for the continental stage, with four allocated to the most consistent teams throughout the Nations League campaign and two awarded to the top performers in Week 3. Consequently, every match holds critical importance in the race to secure a spot.

Group C is regarded as a challenging group, bringing together promising opponents from the region and continent. However, with thorough preparation and a determination to assert Vietnam's esports presence on the international stage, the Vietnam eFootball team is expected to put in a strong performance on their opening day, laying a solid foundation for pursuing their goals in the FIFAe Nations League 2026.

The matches of the Vietnam eFootball team at the FIFAe Nations League 2026 will be continuously updated on the official media platforms of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Vietnam Recreational and Esports Association (VIRESA).
