To ensure the players' physical foundation, during the first training session after returning to Vietnam, the coaching staff divided the team into two groups.

Players who had significant playing time in the previous match mainly focused on recovery under the supervision of medical staff and fitness experts, while the remaining group concentrated on higher-intensity tactical and technical drills.

Midfielder Tài Lộc has fully recovered from his injury and returned to normal training with the whole team. This is a positive sign for Coach Kim Sang Sik as the team enters a period of continuous matches, also providing an additional option for the defense.

In the coming days, the Vietnam national team will continue to refine tactical plans and maintain optimal physical condition with the goal of defeating Singapore to gain an advantage in the race for a semifinal berth.

Hanoi FC holds training camp in Thailand

Hanoi FC officially announced the signing of defender Mai Sỹ Hoàng to strengthen the squad for the 2026/27 season. The 1999-born player is expected to bring competition and depth to the left flank of the capital club.

Mai Sỹ Hoàng developed from the Sông Lam Nghệ An youth academy before establishing his name in the V.League. In the 2025/26 season, he played for Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh and was one of the stable performers on the left flank thanks to his attacking support and abundant physical stamina.

Joining Hanoi FC, Mai Sỹ Hoàng is seen as a replacement for Lê Văn Xuân at the left-back position in Coach Harry Kewell's lineup. With his experience in the V.League, fast and aggressive playing style, and smooth transitions between attack and defense, the 26-year-old defender is expected to integrate quickly.

Currently, Mai Sỹ Hoàng and his teammates are training in Thailand to prepare for the 2026/27 V-League.

Huế Time Square became the first team from Group B to qualify for the semifinals of the 2026 National Beach Football Championship after their victory on the second matchday on July 26 afternoon.

After securing three points in their opening match, the representatives from Huế continued their impressive form to claim a second consecutive win, thereby securing a place in the top four with a perfect six points.

In the remaining Group B match, Tài Ngân Quy Nhơn also earned all three points, making the competition for the remaining semifinal spot more exciting.

According to the schedule, the final Group B matchday takes place on July 28 with two fixtures: Ho Chi Minh City vs. Tài Ngân Quy Nhơn and VietFootball vs. Huế Time Square.
