During the afternoon training session on July 27, head coach Kim Sang Sik had all 25 players available. Previously, Van Lam did not take part in the 7-0 victory over Timor Leste as he was not yet fit and had to stay at the hotel to follow a personal training program.

The return of the Ninh Binh Club goalkeeper gives the coaching staff more options in the goalkeeper position, alongside Le Giang Patrik, who performed well in the opening match.

Along with Van Lam, midfielder Nguyen Tai Loc has also recovered from injury and returned to normal training, adding another personnel option for the Vietnam national team ahead of the important match against Singapore.

On July 27 and 28, the Vietnam national team decided to train behind closed doors, not opening the session for media coverage.

Coach Kim Sang Sik is focusing on perfecting tactical moves and keeping the game plan confidential before the clash with Singapore, which takes place at 8:00 PM on July 31 at My Dinh National Stadium.

PVF continued to assert their status as title contenders by overcoming Hanoi 2-0. The traditionally strong youth development team dominated the match and scored two goals to secure the remaining spot in the final of the tournament.

The presence of Hue and PVF in the final is considered well-deserved after their consistent performances from the group stage through the knockout rounds.

Hue stands on the verge of making history with their first title, while PVF aims for another national U17 championship, extending the impressive record of one of Vietnam's leading youth academies.

SLNA recruits Brazilian striker

SLNA Club continues to strengthen its squad for the 2026/27 V.League season after reaching an agreement to recruit Brazilian striker Gabriel Moyses.

The striker born in 2002 has a height of 1.90m and is considered a center-forward with advantages in physique, aerial ability, and hold-up play.

In the past season, Gabriel Moyses played for Athletic Club, a team currently competing in the Brazilian Serie B, gaining more experience in a highly competitive football environment.

The coaching staff hopes the 24-year-old forward will quickly adapt and become a key attacking force, filling the gap left by Michael Olaha after he left the club.

With his youth, good physical foundation, and development potential, Gabriel Moyses is expected to bring a fresh breeze to SLNA's attack.

The Brazilian striker could become one of the notable foreign players of the Nghe An team in the 2026/27 season.
