Hà Đức Chinh reunites with Becamex TP.HCM

Becamex TP.HCM is speeding up the refinement of its squad. In addition to the return of forward Hà Đức Chinh, the club is also trimming its numbers to gear up for the official squad list for the 2026-2027 National First Division (V-League 2).

Hà Đức Chinh, a former Vietnamese international who won the 2018 AFF Cup, earned a gold medal at the 2019 SEA Games, finished as runner-up at the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship in Changzhou (China), and participated in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, has officially rejoined Becamex TP.HCM. This is a familiar destination for the 1997-born striker, as he previously scored two goals for the club during the 2024-2025 season.

With many years of experience in the V-League and international competitions, Hà Đức Chinh is expected to strengthen Becamex TP.HCM's attack through his wide movement, aggressive pressing, and effective positioning inside the penalty area.

Meanwhile, the team's training atmosphere is very intense. On the training field, head coach Gerard Albadalejo always appears with a friendly smile but is particularly meticulous in his professional approach.

The Spanish tactician constantly observes each player, monitors ball-handling situations, the coordination between lines, and frequently stops the session to make adjustments before increasing the intensity in subsequent drills.

According to coach Gerard Albadalejo, he has informed seven players that they are no longer part of the plans for the upcoming season.

After August 2, Becamex TP.HCM will further reduce the squad by 3-4 players, bringing the number down to about 30. Before the season starts, the team will finalize the official registration list of 26 players.

With notable additions and a rigorous squad selection process, Becamex TP.HCM shows great determination in its goal of competing for promotion to the V-League in the 2026-2027 season.
