Match results will also be counted in the FIFA World Ranking using the coefficient applied in the international match calendar.

This year's tournament is divided into Division 1 and Division 2 to create more balanced competition. Division 1 is hosted in Indonesia, with Group A featuring Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Singapore, and Group B featuring Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Pakistan.
