PVF crushed Hue to win the U17 National Championship

By outperforming their opponents, U17 PVF triumphed 3-0 against U17 Hue in the championship match, thereby becoming the champions of the 2026 Red Dragon Cup U17 National Championship.

Right after the opening whistle, PVF quickly took control of the game and consistently applied pressure on U17 Hue's goal. Their fast-paced combinations and fierce tackling helped the team maintain the upper hand for most of the match.

In the 19th minute, Nam Hieu's pressing effort caused confusion in Hue's defense. After his shot, the opposing goalkeeper failed to hold the ball, allowing Dinh Son to be in the right place and easily tap in to open the scoring for PVF.

After taking the lead, PVF continued to apply pressure with a series of dangerous attacks. Meanwhile, U17 Hue struggled against the opponent's ball control and organization, relying on their defense's concentration to avoid conceding further goals before halftime.

In the second half, U17 Hue pushed forward in search of an equalizer. However, this left gaps for PVF to exploit in transition. In the 51st minute, from a free kick, the Hue goalkeeper failed to clear effectively, allowing Sy Bach to rush in and score the rebound, doubling the lead.

In the remaining time, PVF continued to dominate the game and create many dangerous chances. In the 87th minute, Sy Bach completed his brace with a narrow-angle shot, sealing a 3-0 victory for the PVF Academy team.

By defeating U17 Hue in the final, U17 PVF officially became champions of the 2026 U17 National Championship – Red Dragon Cup. This is also the fifth time the team has won the U17 National Championship, affirming its status as one of the leading youth training centers in Vietnamese football.
