Vietnam futsal coach decides to give young players a chance

Diego Giustozzi emphasized his anticipation that the younger talents will showcase their skills in the national futsal team's gathering, viewing this as a crucial phase of preparation for future key objectives.

According to the Argentine strategist, the coaching staff continues to pursue a youth-oriented approach, blending experienced players with promising talents who are performing well in domestic competitions. This is not only an opportunity for young players to gain experience but also a chance to prove they can compete for a spot in the starting lineup.

Diego Giustozzi assessed the team's training spirit as positive. He believes that players must make the most of every session to refine their skills, adapt to tactical demands, and strengthen cohesion in their gameplay.

The 1978-born coach also stressed that offering opportunities to young players is part of Vietnam futsal's long-term squad-building plan. However, to secure a place, each player must strive through their performances in training sessions and matches.

"Of course we will step onto the pitch with the determination to win. But what I want to see most is the players' performance. Today's 20-21-year-old players have matured a lot, both mentally and professionally.

I want them to take a leading role for the new players. As for the rookies, I want to see how they face and overcome pressure. I believe they have enough ability to become important members of the national team in the future."

Alongside trial of personnel, the coaching staff will continue to refine tactical schemes to ensure the team is best prepared for upcoming official tournaments.

With positive competition within the squad and the determination of young players to assert themselves, coach Diego Giustozzi expects the Vietnam futsal team to gain new talents capable of meeting professional requirements and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnamese futsal in the coming time.
