A series of debutants, Real Madrid dropped a victory in a four-star match.

With Endrick and other young talents, Real Madrid built a two-goal advantage, yet defensive lapses allowed Fiorentina to equalize 2-2 against Jose Mourinho's side.

Real Madrid concluded their pre-season friendly against Fiorentina with a 2-2 draw in Austria. Although they failed to protect a two-goal lead, the impressive performances of Endrick and several young prospects still provided positive signals for coach Jose Mourinho.

Real Madrid started energetically and quickly took control of the game. With the mobility of Arda Guler, Eduardo Camavinga, and young forwards, the Spanish side consistently pressured Fiorentina's defense.

The opening goal came in the 12th minute. Receiving a favorable pass from Álvaro Carreras inside the box, Endrick handled it cleanly before firing a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper. The goal showcased the Brazilian striker's strength, confidence, and ability to seize opportunities.

After the break, Fiorentina pushed higher and increased the pressure. Gudmundsson missed a good opportunity in the 51st minute, but the Serie A side didn't have to wait long to find the equalizer.

In the 58th minute, Moise Kean leaped high to head home a precise cross from Nicolo Fagioli, leveling the match. From two goals down, Fiorentina completed their comeback to make it 2-2.

In the remaining time, Mourinho made several substitutions to assess his squad. New signing Denzel Dumfries was deployed on the flank, while a number of young players continued to get chances to impress. Real Madrid tried to push forward but couldn't add another goal.

The draw shows that Real Madrid's defense still needs improvement before the new season. However, the performances of Endrick, Ciria, and Arda Guler were major positives. In particular, Endrick made the most of his opportunity to prove he can play a key role in Mourinho's plans.
