Vietnam will face a major challenge in the 2026 ASEAN Cup when they take on hosts Indonesia at Pakansari Stadium on August 3 at 20:30.

Not only does this match carry decisive importance for the race to the semifinals, but it also evokes special memories for Vietnamese football on a notoriously difficult pitch.

Pakansari has a capacity of about 30,000 spectators, but what makes it intimidating for visiting teams is not that number alone.
