Admiring Gelora Pakansari, the modern "cauldron" that tests the will of the Vietnam National Team

Located in Cibinong, Bogor, West Java, Gelora Pakansari Stadium is among Indonesia's most modern and large-scale sports facilities. With a capacity of about 30,000 spectators, it serves as the home ground of Persikabo 1973 and is frequently chosen to host national and international football tournaments.

Situated in Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, Gelora Pakansari Stadium is one of Indonesia's most modern and expansive sports structures. With a capacity of roughly 30,000 spectators, the venue is not only the home base of Persikabo 1973 but also a regular choice for hosting national and international football competitions.

Gelora Pakansari was completed and opened in 2015. It is managed by the Bogor Regency government and serves as the centerpiece of the Pakansari Sports Complex (GOR Pakansari), a multi-hectare sports complex featuring various facilities for training and competitions.

The stadium was built to international standards with a modern oval-shaped roof design, creating an impressive appearance and improving spectator sightlines. The entire stands are equipped with individual seating (single-seat), meeting safety requirements and enhancing the fan experience during high-attendance matches.

The pitch has FIFA-standard dimensions of 105 meters in length and 70 meters in width. The playing surface combines two high-quality grass types, Zoysia Matrella and Bermuda, ensuring stable pitch quality under high-intensity match conditions and Indonesia's tropical climate.

Surrounding the football field is an international-standard running track, allowing Gelora Pakansari to host multi-sport events beyond football. This is also why the stadium is designed as a multi-purpose venue, serving various sports disciplines.

In addition to its modern facilities, Gelora Pakansari is integrated into a complete sports complex featuring structures such as the Tangkas and Satria indoor arenas, a climbing wall, tennis courts, a gym, ample parking, and other public amenities.

Over the years, Gelora Pakansari has become a venue for numerous major sports events in Indonesia, notably the 19th Indonesian National Sports Week (PON) and the AFF Cup.

For the 2026 ASEAN Cup, Indonesia has chosen Gelora Pakansari as their home venue for the group stage, hosting Timor Leste and Vietnam. If they advance to the semifinals and final, they will move to their familiar home ground, Bung Karno.

The match between the Indonesia National Team and the Vietnam National Team will take place at 8:30 PM tonight (August 3).
