Arsenal aims for a quadruple in the new season

Kai Havertz stated that Arsenal not only wants to defend the Premier League title but also aims to conquer all trophies, determined to create a historic season under Mikel Arteta.

After ending a 22-year wait to win the Premier League, Arsenal does not want to stop at just one title. Forward Kai Havertz affirmed that the "Gunners" goal for the new season is to win every possible trophy, thereby ushering the club into an era of dominance under coach Mikel Arteta.

In the 2025/26 season, Arsenal won the Premier League but missed out on the Champions League after losing to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in the final. That defeat only made the team more determined to aim for a more perfect season.

Sharing about Arsenal's ambitions, Havertz emphasized: "We want to win all the trophies. That's why we are here. We have won the Premier League, but there are still many other goals to conquer."

The German star believes that Arsenal must continue to raise their level if they want to compete on all fronts. "We need to step up to another level. The season is very long and maintaining form across all competitions is not easy. But the whole team will try to do better than last season and turn those goals into reality."

Arsenal also understands that the journey to defend the Premier League title will be much more difficult. A host of direct rivals have significantly strengthened their squads in the summer transfer window, while the Emirates Stadium side themselves have added Christos Tzolis and continue to pursue superstar Vinicius Junior.

According to Havertz, that forces Arsenal not to be complacent. "Other teams are all getting stronger, so we have to improve even more. That's what the whole team aims for every day on the training ground. We want to start strong and continue to achieve the goals we have set."

Arsenal will start the season with the Community Shield match against Manchester City in Cardiff before embarking on the journey to defend the Premier League title with a home game against newcomers Coventry City. With an increasingly complete squad and a buoyant spirit after a successful season, Mikel Arteta's side are aiming to write a new chapter in the club's history by competing competitively in all four major competitions.
