Hanoi Club claimed the championship title in the National Youth Football Tournament.

The final match for the championship took place between two teams from the capital: Hanoi and Hanoi Club. These two teams possess many quality players, having demonstrated stable performance, technical play, and relentless fighting spirit throughout the tournament. Both teams entered the match cautiously, prioritizing solid defense over risky high-pressing tactics. For most of the first half, players from both sides fiercely contested in the midfield. Scoring a goal in the final minutes of the first half allowed U11 Hanoi Club to play with a comfortable, confident, and proactive mentality. Ultimately, U11 Hanoi Club convincingly defeated U11 Hanoi 2-0 to become champions. U11 Hanoi finished as runners-up. U11 Song Lam Nghe An and U11 Hai Phong Club shared the third-place prize.

The tournament also determined team and individual awards. The Fair Play Award went to U11 Song Lam Nghe An, and the Dong Luc Fair Play Award was given to U11 Hai Phong Club. The Top Scorer title was awarded to players Nguyen Duc Manh, Hoang Quang Anh (U11 Hanoi) and Duong Trong Dai (U11 Hanoi Club), each with 7 goals. The Best Goalkeeper award went to Hoang Gia Bao of U11 Hanoi. The Best Player of the tournament was Nguyen Hai Nam (U11 Hanoi Club).

The 2026 National Children's Football Championship finals brought together 24 best teams from across the country that had advanced through regional qualifiers, including: Dak Lak, Phu Tho, Hanoi, PVF-CAND (Group A); VEST Ho Chi Minh City, Song Lam Nghe An, Tuyen Quang, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Academy (Group B); Hai Phong, Thuan An Ho Chi Minh City, H.Y.S Hanoi, Dong Thap (Group C); LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Thai Nguyen, Navy Duc Nhuận Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Linh Ha Tinh (Group D); Van Tam Dong Nai, Bac Ninh FC, Hung Yen, Viet Hung Thanh Hoa (Group E); Hai Phong Club, Hanoi Club, Gia Lai and Ho Chi Minh City (Group F). The teams played a round-robin format to determine points, with the top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams advancing to the knockout stage.

Journalist Nguyen Phan Khuê, Editor-in-Chief of the Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspaper, and Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee, stated that after nearly three decades, the National Children's Football Championship has become one of the largest, most traditional, and most prestigious youth football playgrounds in the country; it is a place to discover and nurture many talents for Vietnamese football. This season set a record number of registrations with 53 teams from 27 provinces, cities, and youth football training centers. Over the past days of competition, the teams have delivered many exciting, intense, and emotional matches. The audience witnessed beautiful goals, dramatic score chases, tense penalty shootouts, and above all, the united, honest, and noble spirit of the young players. It can be affirmed that the greatest value of the tournament lies not only in achievements, championship trophies, or medals, but more importantly, the young players have trained their health, willpower, discipline, teamwork, met new friends, and gained beautiful memories on their journey of growth.

The tournament was organized by the Vietnam Football Federation, the Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspaper, in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak Province.
