On the evening of August 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Police team departed for Bangkok, Thailand, to participate in a training camp lasting 10 days in preparation for the 2026/27 V-League season. Prior to this, the team coached by Diles Athanasios Arthur had trained in Ba Ria and defeated Ho Chi Minh City 4-1 in a friendly match.
