Vinicius Junior's future at Real Madrid is increasingly being settled favorably for the Spanish giants.
This shift came after Real Madrid's management chose to compromise and presented a renewal offer with improved conditions. That action virtually extinguished Arsenal's chances of acquiring the Brazilian star.
Per David Ornstein of The Athletic, the crucial meeting between Real Madrid and Vinicius' agents on Wednesday opened a significant breakthrough in the talks.
Before that, the financial gap between the parties remained substantial, and Spanish outlets consistently suggested that Real Madrid did not plan to increase their proposal for the 2000-born player.

Nevertheless, at the critical juncture, the club at the Santiago Bernabeu shifted their position. They presented Vinicius with a renewed proposal featuring markedly enhanced conditions.
Per ESPN's Rodra, this step garnered a positive response from the player and his agents, boosting their optimism about securing a contract extension in the near future.
Earlier, Real Madrid had been open to the possibility of selling Vinicius if an agreement could not be reached. Arsenal is said to have been watching the developments closely and readying a bid should the Brazilian forward choose to depart Spain.
Some Spanish outlets even claim that Real Madrid and Vinicius have already finalized a deal. Despite no official confirmation, the majority of those involved are convinced that the extension is just a matter of time.
Vinicius is now considered among the world's finest wingers. During the 2025/26 campaign, he maintained outstanding performances, tallying 22 goals and 14 assists for Real Madrid. His previous contract had raised the prospect of a significant transfer, but if the extension is finalized, the window for Vinicius to depart the Bernabeu will essentially be shut for the foreseeable future.
