The Chinese Super League standings are in chaos! The leader stumbled, going six matches without a win, Dalian surged to second, and Yunnan climbed to third.

On August 8, Beijing time, the 22nd round of the Chinese Super League kicked off, with four matches already concluded. Beijing Guoan dominated with a 4-0 thrashing of Shenzhen, Shenhua edged out Qingdao Hainiu 1-0 away, Dalian secured a 1-0 derby double over Liaoning, and Yunnan toppled the leader Chengdu 1-0. As a result, the latest standings are in disarray. Guoan vs. Shenzhen. Playing at home, Guoan went on a rampage, ruthlessly attacking Shenzhen. Their strikers were highly efficient, scoring goal after goal to control the match. In the end, they swept to a 4-0 shutout, inflicting a heavy defeat. With three points in hand, they extended their unbeaten run to seven games and climbed to fifth place.

Shenhua vs. Hainiu. Both teams were on losing streaks—Shenhua had suffered three consecutive defeats, drawing heavy criticism and desperate for a rebound, while Hainiu had lost four in a row, sitting at the bottom of the table with immense relegation pressure. Yunnan vs. Chengdu. Facing the league leaders, Yunnan played with even greater intensity, causing trouble for Chengdu both offensively and defensively.
