Joao Pedro scored a brace to help Chelsea thrash AC Milan 3-0

Chelsea delivered an impressive display, beating AC Milan 3-0 in a friendly match at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on the night of August 8. Joao Pedro was the star with a double, scoring both goals within about a minute at the start of the second half.

Chelsea and AC Milan started the match at a high tempo. The Italian side took the initiative in the opening minutes, using Rafael Leao's speed and dribbling ability to put pressure on Chelsea's defense.
