Two semifinal pairs of the 2026 ASEAN Cup determined.

The 2026 ASEAN Cup group stage has wrapped up, fully identifying the four teams that have secured spots in the semifinals.

In Group A, Vietnam ended the group stage undefeated, accumulating 10 points from four matches with three wins and one draw. The team, coached by Kim Sang Sik, scored 13 goals while conceding just one. Meanwhile, Singapore placed second with eight points, claiming the other qualifying spot from the group.

In Group B, Thailand demonstrated total dominance, winning all four matches to secure 12 points, scoring 10 goals without conceding. Malaysia finished as runners-up with nine points, three ahead of Myanmar.

Under the 2026 ASEAN Cup format, the Group A winner takes on the Group B runner-up, and the Group B winner faces the Group A runner-up. Consequently, the semifinal matchups are set: Vietnam versus Malaysia, and Thailand versus Singapore.

The first semifinal, featuring Malaysia and Vietnam, will play its first leg on August 16 at Kuala Lumpur Stadium. The return leg is scheduled for August 19 at My Dinh Stadium.

In the other semifinal, Singapore will host Thailand in the first leg on August 15 at Yishun Stadium. The second leg will be held on August 18 at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
