Real Madrid of La Liga have no intention of offloading midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni during the current summer transfer window. The 'Galactic' club announced this week that the 26-year-old French star has rejoined the squad. Nonetheless, he is anticipated to be fit by the time the new season kicks off later this month.

The story of Tchouaméni moving to Manchester United has ended, as confirmed by Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Romano stated: 'United considered Tchouaméni, but that was before he signed his new contract. Around April or May, United tried to bring him in because they saw him as the ideal midfield target. He is a top player with international experience, a big reputation, and accustomed to playing at the highest level. So United wanted to attempt to sign him.'

However, Tchouaméni is now an impossible dream. Romano added: 'United saw Tchouaméni as the perfect replacement for Casemiro in midfield, but the problem is—and this is a huge turning point—Tchouaméni has already signed a new contract with Real Madrid. As Manchester United's attempts to sign a third new midfielder this summer have repeatedly hit obstacles, the British media, eager for a big story, have resorted to rehashing old news.
