At 41, Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media on August 12 (Beijing time) to declare his marriage. The image he shared shows his and Georgina's hands stacked together, with rings adorning their ring fingers. His caption was just the letters C and G followed by a heart symbol.

According to a confirmation from British media outlet Daily Mail, Ronaldo and Georgina held a civil wedding ceremony today in Cascais, Portugal, and are now officially husband and wife. The intimate and warm event was attended by all five of Ronaldo's children.

Ronaldo went public with his relationship with Georgina in 2016, and the couple has been together for a decade. In November 2017, Georgina gave birth to their first child together, a daughter named Alana Martina.

In October 2021, Ronaldo announced that Georgina was expecting twins. In April 2022, Georgina gave birth to a daughter, Bella Esmeralda, but unfortunately the baby boy was stillborn during delivery.

Ronaldo proposed to Georgina in August 2025, and it was successful. Earlier, rumors had circulated that the couple would marry on August 8 of this year at the Funchal Cathedral in Portugal.
