Results of the second round of the 2025 U17 National Championship qualifiers: Viettel holds firm at the top

On August 17, the qualifying round of the 2025 U17 National Football Championship progressed in Groups A and D, delivering significant results that clarified the competition in both groups.

In Group A, The Cong Viettel demonstrated their dominance with a 7-0 victory over Dao Ha Football Center. With a perfect six points after two matches and a goal difference of 9-0, the army youth team remains firmly at the top. In the other match, Hue and Hanoi Police ended in a 1-1 draw. This outcome allows Hue to keep second place with four points, while Hanoi Police earned their first point of the tournament.

In Group D, An Giang secured a crucial 2-0 win over Dong Nai to move into the leading group. Vinh Long performed well to draw 0-0 with Becamex Binh Duong, earning their first point. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City FC continued their impressive form by defeating Tay Ninh 1-0, bringing their total to six points after two consecutive wins without conceding a goal.

After the second round, The Cong Viettel and Ho Chi Minh City FC both have perfect records and top Groups A and D. Hue and An Giang are close behind with positive results, promising an intense race in the upcoming rounds.
