The championship at Indian Wells Masters not only helped Jannik Sinner regain his spirit, but also allowed him to pocket a considerable sum. The Italian star has become one of only eight players in history to surpass the $60 million prize money milestone.
Jannik Sinner had two explosive weeks of competition at Indian Wells this year, not only winning his first title at this Masters 1000 event, but also completing his collection of Masters 1000 titles on hard courts in his career. He is also the youngest player ever to achieve this.
But that's not all; the 24-year-old Italian player also officially surpassed the $60 million career prize money milestone. Before entering Indian Wells, Sinner had a total prize money of $57,544,926 USD. With the champion's prize money of $1,151,380 USD - plus the ATP profit share added for many players in the tournament - he reached $60,039,831 USD, officially joining the "$60 million club".

Jannik Sinner increasingly wealthier after victories
Sinner is the second player born in the 2000s to reach this milestone, after rival Carlos Alcaraz, who currently holds $64,274,163 USD in prize money. Besides this duo, several other players also reached impressive prize money milestones after Indian Wells and the ATP profit share: Alexander Zverev also surpassed the $60 million mark, from $59,390,927 USD to $60,969,344 USD (he reached the Indian Wells semifinals, receiving an additional $340,190 USD). Daniil Medvedev surpassed the $50 million mark, from $49,938,657 USD to $51,150,419 USD (Indian Wells runner-up, receiving $612,340 USD). World number 7 Taylor Fritz reached the $30 million mark, from $29,839,634 USD to $30,319,179 USD, thereby joining the group of only six American players in history to achieve this feat, alongside the Williams sisters, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, and Coco Gauff.
With his current form, Sinner is expected to continue rising strongly in the all-time prize money rankings of tennis.
