Tournament Preview
First, congratulations to Chinese player Wu Yize for successfully advancing to the quarter-finals. We look forward to him achieving a good result.
Wu Yize's record against Mark Allen is 1 win and 3 losses, putting him at a disadvantage. However, Wu Yize's recent form has been explosive; in the previous round, he trailed 0-2 but staged a five-frame comeback to defeat Wilson, showing strong offensive firepower and benefiting from home advantage, making him a formidable opponent. Yet, Mark Allen's historical record is dominant, he is experienced in short-format matches, and is more solid in crucial shots and defense. Personally, I predict Mark Allen has a higher probability of winning, possibly 5-3 over Wu Yize. Of course, I hope Wu Yize can replicate the form he showed against Kyren Wilson, which could enable him to defeat Mark Allen.
For the other matches, I personally believe Ronnie O'Sullivan, Judd Trump, and Gary Wilson will win and advance to the semi-finals. What do you all think?
