If he wins, Sinner will achieve the "Sunshine Double" (winning both Indian Wells and Miami).

The confrontation between the two players presents two clear extremes. On one side is the near-absolute dominance of Sinner, on the other is the breakthrough journey exceeding expectations of Jiri Lehecka.

Sinner has won all four meetings against Lehecka, winning 9 out of 9 sets. The most recent one at Roland Garros 2025, the Italian player "destroyed" Lehecka with a score of 3 - 0 (6 - 0, 6 - 1, 6 - 2).

At this moment, Sinner is the player every opponent dreads facing. The Italian player is proving himself to be a victory machine with no stopping point.

The world number 1 enters the final in a near-perfect state. A 2 - 0 victory (6 - 3, 7 - 6) over German player Alexander Zverev in the semifinals brings him into his second Miami final in three years, extending an astonishing dominance streak. This also marks Sinner's 11th appearance in an ATP 1000 final.

The world number 2 currently holds 11 consecutive wins in Miami (counting from 2024). Sinner also has a streak of 11 straight wins, not losing any set since Indian Wells 2026. Sinner is writing new pages of ATP history by becoming the first player to reach three consecutive Masters 1000 finals without losing any set, after winning 2 - 0 at the Paris Masters 2025 and Indian Wells 2026.

The most frightening aspect lies in the Italian player's ability to control the match, with 15 aces in the semifinal against Zverev and an almost absolute composure in handling crucial moments.

The title at Indian Wells Masters two weeks ago, where "the Italian player defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final, placed Sinner in the opportunity to complete the "Sunshine Double" (winning Indian Wells and Miami), something no male player has achieved since Roger Federer in 2017.

For Lehecka, the Czech player is having a breakout journey at this year's tournament. Lehecka is having the best tournament of his career. The Czech player reached his first Masters 1000 final after a dominant 2 - 0 victory (6 - 2, 6 - 2) over Arthur Fils. Losing only 4 games, not facing any break point and successfully utilizing 4 break opportunities, the performance brought Lehecka to a new milestone in his career. The last time a player reached a Masters final without losing a service game was Novak Djokovic at the Shanghai Masters 2018, the tournament where the Serbian player later became champion.

Lehecka's play relies heavily on power, especially his powerful forehand. However, the issue lies in the quality of opponents. Most of his wins come against players lacking stability, declining stamina, or with less experience.

The final will be a completely different test, an opponent with solid defense, sharp counterattacks, and almost never giving the opponent easy points.

The match between Sinner and Lehecka will take place at 2:00 on March 30. Against a Sinner in a near-perfect state, it truly is a difficult test for the Czech phenomenon.
