In the final singles championship match, the No.2 seed and world No.2 Jannik Sinner overcame rain disruptions to defeat the No.21 seed, Czech star Tomáš Macháč, 6-4 6-4, maintaining a perfect 4-0 record against him. With a 12-match winning streak, he claimed the "Sunshine Double" titles.

If Alcaraz fails to defend his title and Sinner advances to a deep round, the world No.1 throne could change hands.

On the women's tour: In the WTA1000 Miami doubles final, the No.2 seeds, the Czech-American pair of Kateřina Siniaková and Taylor Townsend, performed excellently, defeating the No.1 seeds, the Italian duo of Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini, 7-6(0) 6-1.
