Tran Thi Thanh Thuy once again achieved victory in the match against Tran Thi Bich Thuy's team in the Japanese National Volleyball Championship.

Tran Thi Thanh Thuy contributed to Gunma Green Wings' victory over Okayama Seagulls, led by Tran Thi Bich Thuy, in the 2025/26 Japanese National Volleyball Championship. In today's rematch (March 15), Gunma Green Wings won 3-0 with scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-22.

Just one day prior, Gunma Green Wings had overcome Okayama Seagulls with a 3-1 score. Entering the second match of the week, Thanh Thuy's team was more relaxed and focused. Compared to the previous match, Gunma Green Wings minimized errors and maintained stable gameplay throughout all three sets.

In the first set, the two teams traded points before Gunma Green Wings pulled ahead late to win 25-22. The second set remained tense as Okayama Seagulls closely trailed, but Gunma Green Wings preserved their advantage and closed the set 25-23. In the third set, the momentum didn't shift much as Thanh Thuy's team continued to control the pace and won 25-22, concluding the match in three sets.

This victory increased Gunma Green Wings' total wins to 22 in the 2025/26 season, while they maintained their 7th place ranking.

In the duel between the two Vietnamese players, both Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Tran Thi Bich Thuy scored 10 points for their teams.
