Determining the semifinals of the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Volleyball Cup 2026

Following a 3-0 win against LPBank Ninh Binh, the Information - Northeast Club is set to meet VietinBank in the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2026 semifinals.

The Information – Northeast volleyball club continued its impressive performance at the Hoa Lu – Binh Dien Cup 2026 by defeating LPBank Ninh Binh 3-0 (27-25, 25-14, 25-11), thus concluding the group stage with a perfect record and securing the top spot in Group B.

The match began with a balanced situation as LPBank Ninh Binh leveraged their home advantage to lead 21-16 in the first set. However, the composure of Information – Northeast came through at the crucial moment. The brilliance of Bich Hue combined with excellent organization helped Information – Northeast stage a spectacular comeback, narrowly winning 27-25 in a highly dramatic set.

Moving into the second set, the scenario completely changed. The team coached by Pham Van Long dominated with a fast-paced and versatile playing style. The effective blocking system continuously neutralized the opponent's attacks, allowing Information – Northeast to quickly build a large gap before closing the set 25-14.

In the third set, the match became one-sided as LPBank Ninh Binh appeared demoralized and lacked cohesion. Meanwhile, Phuong Thuy, Bich Hue, and Thao Huong shone alternately, enabling Information – Northeast to easily secure a 25-11 victory, thereby completing a convincing 3-0 win.

Despite lacking some experienced key players, Information – Northeast still demonstrated formidable squad depth through a blend of youth and experience. This victory not only affirmed their strength but also earned them a semifinal berth as group winners, where they will face VietinBank.
