Despite playing disjointedly and lethargically in the Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup 2026, Hanoi Tasco Auto has completely "transformed" in the National Championship. Alongside German main attacker Ivana Vanjak, Vi Thị Như Quỳnh has also shone brilliantly since the start of the tournament.
In the match against BCTT Binh Đoàn 19, Như Quỳnh scored 18 points, and in the match against Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai, the Thai ethnic hitter scored 17 points. Continuing to display high form, Như Quỳnh again scored 23 points helping Hanoi Tasco Auto "decode" Vietinbank in their latest match of the 2026 National Championship.
The women's volleyball team from the banking sector recently made waves by crushing Binh Chủng Thông Tin Binh Đoàn 19 3-0 and had previously caused VTV Bình Điền Long An considerable difficulty in sets despite ultimately losing 0-3 to the reigning champion.

Như Quỳnh scored 23 points, contributing significantly to Hanoi Tasco Auto's easy 3-0 victory over Vietinbank in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Championship.
But against Hanoi Tasco Auto, Vietinbank nearly "lost power." Their attacks encountered countless difficulties against the fierce blocking on the other side of the net, while they couldn't defend effectively either at the net or in the back row facing the overly powerful hitters of the capital's women's volleyball team, notably Vi Thị Như Quỳnh.
Despite being only 1.75m tall, Như Quỳnh continuously "bombed" opponents thanks to good jumping ability, robust stamina, and very strong wrist power. It was still those powerful jumps, those forceful spikes, and those annoying blocking plays. Như Quỳnh maintained an almost absolutely stable performance.
Playing like this, she could completely become the "domestic" player scoring the most points in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Championship. With the duo Ivana Vanjak – Như Quỳnh, Hanoi Tasco Auto becomes a very difficult opponent to decode for rivals at the current moment as they are not overly dependent on any single scoring player.

Như Quỳnh continuously maintains high form, helping Hanoi Tasco Auto win all 3 matches played in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Championship.
For Như Quỳnh personally, the aforementioned quality performances help her continue to "score points" with Coach Tuấn Kiệt, not only at Club Hanoi Tasco Auto but also with the Vietnamese women's national volleyball team ahead of the first national team training camp scheduled for late April 2026 and just before Như Quỳnh turns 24 (born April 16, 2002).
Finding Coach Nguyễn Thúy Oanh herself when she was still coaching the Women's Bank of Industry and Commerce team, Như Quỳnh was later accepted into the team by this former famous setter of Vietnamese volleyball and youth training specialist, honing her skills, and she quickly revealed her promising qualities.
Although having limited height (1.75m) for a player in the main attacker position, Như Quỳnh compensates with relatively good jumping ability and very stable stamina. The Thai ethnic girl possesses very powerful spikes thanks to strong wrist power.
In the 2020 season, Như Quỳnh, then only 18 years old, made a strong impression at the national youth volleyball tournament. She was the athlete scoring the most points at the 2020 National Youth Volleyball Tournament. At this tournament, she also won the Most Outstanding Athlete award.
At the Asian Club Championship in April 2023, alongside Thanh Thúy and Tú Linh, Như Quỳnh contributed significantly by scoring 17 points, helping the Vietnamese national team reverse the tide to defeat Thailand's Diamond Food Club 3-2 and win the championship. This was the first time Vietnamese volleyball won a continental-level tournament.

Như Quỳnh is leading the list of domestic players scoring the most points in Stage 1 of the 2026 National Championship.
In the match against Thailand in the first round of the 2023 Asian Championship, Như Quỳnh played as starter and she continuously unleashed thunderous spikes from behind the 3-meter line, rendering the opponent almost completely helpless. Như Quỳnh scored 20 points against Thailand, being the highest scorer in the match.
After an extremely "hot" performance against Thailand at the 2023 Asian Championship with many scoring spikes from behind the 3-meter line for the Vietnamese national team, Như Quỳnh was likened to Vietnam's "3-meter queen Sakoda" (Saori Sakoda, Japan's famous main attacker, also only 1.75m tall like Như Quỳnh and spikes exceptionally well from behind the 3-meter line).
Some people gave her the nickname "Quỳnh grenade" due to the destructive power spikes reminiscent of Than Quảng Ninh's main attacker. At the 2023 World Club Championship, Như Quỳnh scored 15 points for the Vietnamese women's national team in the first match against world number one women's volleyball club Vakifbank of Turkey. Later Như Quỳnh continued to play well in the match against South American champion Dentil Praia, scoring 14 points, the most for the Vietnamese side and the second highest scorer in that match, only behind opponent setter Tainara Santos from Dentil Praia (24 points).
At Stage 1 of SEA V.League 2024 against the Thai national team, Như Quỳnh was sent onto the court by Coach Tuấn Kiệt to replace Thanh Thúy from late in set 1, and the Thai ethnic girl exploded again with powerful spikes both at the net and from behind the 3-meter line, scoring a total of 18 points for the Vietnamese national team. At Stage 2 of SEA V.League 2024 against Thailand again, Như Quỳnh started and still played steadily, scoring 15 points for the Vietnamese national team.
In 2025, Như Quỳnh continued to demonstrate the caliber of a top hitter in the current Vietnamese women's volleyball scene despite being only 1.75m tall. Her highlight was a brilliant performance at the 2025 Asian Women's Club Championship while playing for VTV Bình Điền Long An on loan.
At this tournament, Như Quỳnh scored up to 97 points, including 84 points from attacks. Như Quỳnh not only surpassed senior Thanh Thúy but also won the Best Main Attacker award of the tournament. This was a deserved reward for the contributions and efforts of this 2002-born hitter.
At Stage 2 of SEA V.League 2025, Như Quỳnh was a key factor helping the Vietnamese national team reverse the tide to achieve a historic 3-2 victory over Thailand and claim the championship. She won the "Best Main Attacker" award at this stage.
Previously, Như Quỳnh was also voted "Best Main Attacker" at Stage 2 of SEA V.League 2023 and "Best Main Attacker" at Stage 2 of SEA V.League 2024. Thus, she was voted "Best Main Attacker" for three consecutive years at SEA V.League. That is an unprecedented record in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball.
