The AVC Cup (formerly known as the AVC Challenge Cup and AVC Nations Cup) is the premier continental tournament at the national team level, first held in 2018 and occurring annually since 2022. Although it no longer serves as a qualifier for the FIVB Challenger Cup—an event that has been discontinued—the AVC Cup remains an excellent opportunity for teams to accumulate points and improve their world rankings.
This year's AVC Cup runs from June 6 to June 14 in Candon, Philippines, featuring 12 teams divided into two groups, A and B, as follows:
The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, which will determine the champion. The remaining teams will compete in classification matches.
The Vietnam women's volleyball team has won the AVC Cup for three consecutive seasons: 2023 (defeating Indonesia in the final), 2024 (defeating Kazakhstan), and 2025 (defeating Philippines).
